Being you need a nat membership to join a local hog chapter, I renewed in january. In April the sponsoring dealer went belly up,but nat hog is letting our chapter exsist until October. There's talk about breaking away and starting our own thing. I"m all for that, so I don't have to pay nat hog basicly for nothing of usefulness to me.,,

I don't participate in Hog events but for me its a Nostalgia thing. I've been a National Member for as long as I can remember. Have a box full of pins and annual patches but have never worn them. This year membership saved me 120.00 on my Insurance premium, and with my local dealers reward points I build up quite a cash value on every purchase plus the 10% discount. Also saved me 30.00 on a campground site. Works for me!

I actually tried to get poser as a personalized plate for my bike...someone already had it!

I've never participated in any of their organization stuff, but the discount at the dealer means it ends up paying for itself, so I keep renewing.

My wife said, and I mean absolutely straight faced, "Maybe they are a model or something". I completely doubled over right there in the DMV.

Thanks guys for all of the input. I'm leaning towards renewing it. I just have to remember the different ways to use it to save money. Shouldn't be that hard to re-coup the $45 or more anyway! Might be silly but I will probably feel better having it than not having it in the long run! lol
