I have indoor/outdoor carpet, and absolutly love it!
Was going to do the ceramic tiles, but decided against it, and glad I did
Can still use a creeper, cleans super easy--even w/ the occasional fluid spills
Park the bike on a HD rubber mat
When tooling or wrenching, and it may get messy, I'll simply lay down a tarp, plastic, towel, rag, etc.
By far, one of the best things I have done to my garage.

i have a pad that they use to lay patients on xray machines. the hospital didnt want it anymore because it was slightly radioactive and was beginning to fog the images. keeps me warm when the garage floor is cold.

A lay down creeper sometimes. But mostly a stool creeper that has adjustable height... since I put in a 4-post Bend-Pak car lift that moves the work to any height position that's needed. The Bend-Pak is incredible

$20 bills.... I'm out of hundreds Just kiddin'
I've covered my garage floor with grey indoor/outdoor carpeting. It's cheap and cleaner that a concret floor, (and you can vacume it when it gets dirty/dusty).
Nothin' but the best for my Dyna!
