Less weight is better for handling and gives you more suspension options.

Less weight is better for more performance. Maybe you have been to a place with two lanes in a straight line with something that kind of resembles a street light. At these magical places all the guys get timed in a quarter mile run. And, what these guys try to do that are serious about getting a low time is remove as much weight as possible off their bikes to be faster. But, maybe you are right on the girl thing- normally girls have faster reaction times to the tree then men do.

Find someone whose IQ gets into 3 digits and they can help you out - maybe even draw something on paper if you promise not to drool all over it.

The Switchback is great. Drove one today - see tons of possibilities with it and likely buying one if I can convince someone in the house it would be really great to have a 4th bike in the garage.

 

Simple:

FattyLow = Shorter distance cool

Switchback = Longer distance cool

Without having to do any of them there mod things.

 

One of the guys that works at my indy put a road glide fairing and full size hard bags on a dyna (CVO like fender mods too) and I have to say it looks pretty awesome. Just to throw another option in the pot.

 

I say get a Switchback then lower it, black it out and turn it into a hardtail.
