I think there is a little mis-info on the V-Rod engine design and that road racer. I'm not positive but think HD's racer's were air cooled until they gave up road racing. Thought the V-Rod engine was designed by Porche with Willie saying what it should look like. Nova engine was a Porche design also.
I would love to get my hands on a Aermacchi 350SS. The 250 version won a lot of Euro road races in it's day.

I looked through all 12 pages and I didn't see the 1977 Conferderate bikes any place.
- FLH Electra Glide = 44
- Super Glide = 228
- XLH Sportster = 229

Was just going through these old posts, thought I'd shoot this out. USMC did field them in Afghanistan and Iraq for Recon Scouts and select MARSOC units depending on missions. Also, I don't exactly know where they got them, but a small Ranger detachment I worked with for a few months in Afghanistan had two of the MT500s. The team chief said that they had "drug dealed" them in exchange for 2 quads and some other parts. Never rode them, but they looked cool.
