Gangster apes on 2012 Fatboy Lo??

I'd stick with the stock bars if you can't install 'em yourself, but that's just me. I personally think that paying over a grand (bars, accessories + labor) just to change out the bars is ludicrous. I paid $425 for bars, risers, cables and wire extensions. Did the install myself. I can think of many better, more worthwhile mods to spend over a grand on.

Doesn't seem that way. Plus most bike riders these days have warranties they're concerned with. That sure didn't use to be the case.

If I were to get a second bike it would probably be the Fatboy Lo and I would put Carlini's gangster apes on them.
That said, the most important thing you've said is that "YOU LOVE THE STOCK BARS". It would be a huge waste of money to put the apes on and you don't like them.
If I were you I'd stick with the stock bars and spend the money elsewhere. Personally I'm more comfortable with apes. But that's me. Don't let peer pressure and looks dictate what your wallet does.

LOL... Ya i decided to keep the stock bars for now thats how much i actually like them. The 2012 Lo bars are great ..very comfy.. Plus i looked at alot of pics of the Fatboys with apes. I dont know if im totally sold on if they look good! I think it may be the Solid wheels that throw it off a bit. But i do think all FL models look the best with apes!
