Default Need some feedback!

I'm not trying to advertise on this post just looking for your opinions. I sell clothing on a website and I would like to market them to the biker community. What I'm looking to sell is denim jeans. They are regular cotton jeans not lined with kevlar or anything like that.
However they are treated so that they are stain resistant and water repellent They're not going to replace rain gear if you're going to be riding a long time in the rain If you're going down the road and it starts raining do you immediately pull over and put on your rain gear or is your first thought "maybe it will stop"? So you keep going, finally give up and pull over and your soaked. These jeans will keep you dry til you can find somewhere to pull off the road.
Just trying to find out if this is an item that people who ride would be interested in before I spend money on ads.

Have a great holiday!

They may be good for someone caught in an unexpected shower, but for me, I'll take a rainsuit with me if there is a prediction of rain.

It's a great idea, but I see some problems. To really be effective, someone would have to replace all their jeans with yours. Good for you, bad for the customer. Also, if you don't replace all your jeans and you are on the third day of a 5 day riding trip, what are the odds you're still wearing the water resistant ones?

How about marketing a treatment system instead? Something that riders could use to treat all of their jeans before a long trip? Is that feasible?

Water resistant jeans....hum can I wash them like regular jeans, or would they have to be dry cleaned?

Thanks for your answers and questions. To answer some of your concerns they are not sprayed with scothguard or anything else. It is not a topical treatment it is in the fabric. I guess I can tell you it is Teflon. It does not change the look, feel or breathability of the fabric.
It also doe not wash out with regular washing.

Thanks
