Just got respone from an email I sent Truck Lite, says New Phase 7 LED should be availabe this month!!!

 

Is there a head to head video comparison of the new TL phase 7 and the HD light?

I have the HD units on my bike. If someone in the San Francisco, CA. bay area has the TL phase 7 light and a video camera and would like to get together to do a comparison video, send me a PM and perhaps we can set something up.

 

No haven't seen one, I have seen a comparison to phase 6 but not the phase 7, that would be intersting

 

Do the head light & auxilary from Truck Lite plug right in like HD led lights ?

The older Truck-lite/Kuryakyn leaves a lot to be desired..
The Harley version has a straight ahead main LED and two 45 degree LEDs for lighting the radius. Plus, it has a clear lens.
The HD light in not manufactured by truck-lite, and I think is a better product.

 

This thread is about the newer Phase 7 Truck Lite LED. The new design addresses the issue of the pattern not being very wide. It has only 2 diodes and looks more like a traditional light.

The H-D light is made by the JW Speaker Co. and is ~ $500.00. The new Phase 7 is listed on the Kury site at $299.00, so I'm sure some dealers will sell it for less.
