Default Running different Brand tires front/rear

Am I looking for trouble if I do this? Running Dunlops right now, replaced my front last year as I picked up a nail and just replaced the original dunlop front, will have to replace the rear at some point in the upcoming season have been looking at tires and have seen allot of guys like the Metzeler 880, was thinking about going with it over the Dunlop K591.

I have ran Avon venoms on the back with Dunlop E3's on the front of my Heritage Classic for several years. Never had a problem.

As long as they are both radials you will be good. I am currently running Michelin rear and Dunlop front on my Ultra.

I ran a Dunlop rear with my Metz front on my last bike for 7 years, no problems at all.

100,000 miles and my bike hasn't had a matching set since it left the showroom floor. No issues.

Perelli on the front, stock Dunlop on the back. Can't wait 'til the Dunlop is worn so I can replace it with a Perelli!

I've run Metz 880's for 6 years. You'll be in for a pleasent suprise if you go to a radial... those road snakes (that Butt wiggle that happens when you cross a seam on the freeway while changing lanes) will go away.

Best wishes....Tim(HT)

There is no distinct benefit for mixing brands. I don't mix tires on any of my vehicles.

My Ultra has Dunlop front and rear. Only thing is, the rear is a car tire. I guess that is mixing it up some.
