Got a test ride on a secondhand 883 booked for next week to see how i get on with it . . it will be the first time i have ridden a Harley so am quite lookin forward to it.

 

I think you will be cheek to cheek grinning when you take it for a ride..

 

Not the best riding or comfy HD, but its at least a start..

my first ride was a 07 nightster. you should have fun riding it.

 

Should be a lot of fun. Careful, it's addictive.

 

I took a rider's course (required by law to get licensed). Well as soon as I got my 'M' endorsement, I jumped on my Harley.... holy **** eating grin! Next to sex and flying helicopters, there is no better feeling in the world. In fact, those are the top 3. Sex and riding my NT fight for 2nd place.

 

thanks for the encouraging replies . . its an 05 year/model so i think thats the rubber mounted engine version . . i lookin forward to it even more now .

Yep...'04 and newer are rubber mounted. Had an '01 1200 and the ride wasn't that bad but the mirrors vibrated so much it was hard to see out of 'em at night on the freeway.
