Has anyone heard anything about New Castle Harley Davidson? I hear they are replacing Zanottis? I guess that the employees from zanottis are moving over there to continue the internet business. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Yea, I spoke with them a few weeks ago and that seems to be "The Plan." But I suspect there is some financial nonsense regarding Zanotti's and the existing Website. I would imagine that it has something to do with who owns the URL and how much is the URL worth, and if there is a customer list how much that's worth, etc., etc. At some point the Zanotti Web Site will simply become worthless from the current inertia of the situation. Then nobody wins. Eventually simply starting over with a new Website at Newcastle will become as viable as trying to resurrect the Zanotti site. There's absolutely nothing in business that time and the competition won't cure!

Default New Castle H-D

Well, I called Zannotti's about some items and since they are closing they did not have them in inventory. We got to talking about the store closing and I told him I hated to see people losing there jobs with the way the economy is.This guy I talked to later told me about New Castle H-D. (I don't think he was supposed too) I then sent them an e-mail parts quote request from the NewCastle website and got a real quick response from a guy named Bill. That guy is "OK" he followed through just like a real professional should. He kept me posted with tracking numbers and shipped the items when he said he would. I saved money, got good service and quick shipping. Will I buy from them again??? Absolutely!!! Just my 2 cents worth. Happy trails....

I was just going to start a thread about this, shopnewcastlehd.com is the site. Service and prices are the same (Allegedly ). I hope this all works out to be as good as Zanottis, I spent a lot of dough on their site and the customer service was outstanding.

For anyone that's interested, I had to run to a drilling rig this evening that took me past Zanotti's, and snapped a couple pics.. The sign says it all, and the showroom is definitely emptying out. (not to mention, the harley sign is gone as well)
