Has anyone found a supplier of old-style aviator type goggles that will make lenses from a prescription, and perhaps even transitions? My eye doctor suggested a place, however they have not been successful in finding a supplier for just one pair. I found some suppliers of old-school goggles but nothing for prescription lenses.

Also, are there any advantages to the split lens design, or is curved best? I wore tanker goggles during my Army tour, and they were curved. Thanks.

 

What about Oakley? I looked into their prescription lenses for regular sunglasses but I think they also make ski goggles.... Doesn't seem like a great leap to m/c goggles... Just an idea..
