Yup same here, guys were great to work with at HCC, and the bars and cables were very well done, would do it the same way 100 times over, love my 18" Narrow apes.

 

I got my Prime Apes from Handlebar Louie. Kit was drop shipped from LA Choppers. Very happy with everything. LA Choppers and Louie were great.
I think the throttle cables were a little long but they work fine. I did not need the new brake line in the kit, don't know what I am going to do with it yet.
I would highly recommend.

 

That's more what I'm looking for, but at $1795, I'll have to wire them myself

 

I didn't say they were cheap. lol Made in the USA though.

 

Just ordered a complete kit on ebay from dream rides. $589 shipped. I will let you know how they are.

 

BR Custom Bars will set you up with a complete set up if you can't do it your self.

 

Worked out great!! John at Dream Rides was super patient with any of my questions and that helped making a painful job less painful.

 

Got a set of 13 inch apes for my ultra classic from HCC. Couldn't be happier. Got the complete kit, pre wired, switches, cables, etc. I read some neg. post also. But if you read enough things about HCC. you will find alot more positive then neg.

 

I got a set from Burly for a 2009 Sportster. Presume the do other models as well. It was bars (16" apes), wiring extensions, and cables.
