Just my opinion, I have the V&H Pro Pipes and True Duals......SJ Ron
I had V & H True Duals on a '98 Heritage (shop bike) and burnt the back of my left thigh almost daily. I got a good price for them when I sold them at a swap meet.

But,,, I also think that most any 2-1 system will be a lot better in the under 3k area and across the sheet for area under the curve..
Check out this dyno sheet with a 2-into-1 Thunder Header and MGS True Duals. Power curve is better in our opinion with the True Duals. What do you think?

Impossible. Unless you are now running in a higher gear than you were before. Simply impossible.

Glad someone else caught that, But I think I figured it out. He wasn't getting into 6th gear before. Either that or the fuel pak tweeked his speedo. Don't matter whether you're 1 up, 2 up or 4 up, RPM vs speed is straight simple math and it can't change without changing gears, pulleys or tire size.

The gearing is a solid mechanical lock-up(assuming no clutch slip), RPM will not change at a given mph no matter if its 60 hp or 2000 hp.

What will change with more power is the position of the throttle, a engine with more power will take less throttle to do the same speed. RPM will continue to be the same for a given mph no matter how much power you have.

How did I miss this thread? Maybe after he changed pipes, he was going in the same direction as the wind and therefore needed less RPMs to go the same speed.
