check engine light comes on after about 10 miles at a steady 60-65 mph then slow down to around 35 mph - after a few miles going slower , light goes off , drive around some more for a few more miles then jump up to 60-65 again, light comes on

on slow down goes off stay at the slower speed for awhile comes back on at the slower speed too

its like once it finds a avg speed engine light comes on,

Whats up with that??

You need to get a code. Mine did a similar thing when I had a slight exhaust leak.

Check for diagnostic trouble codes. See Here if you don't know how.

That's Brilliant!

Funny, the first time I checked it it came back as a code- P0577 =

Cruise control Input High what ever that means, started it up and now it say's nothing, I'm sure if I go for a spin it will pop up-

I did write down the Part number - 32933-08 so it says, all the rest was clear or no problems, now my question is how do i install a new cruse control input high ?

I better break down and buy a manual -- or is this a Technician problem- outside my hammer, wrench screwdriver tool chest.

Cruise control works fine for now anyway !!

Check the connection on your speed sensor for the transmission. It should be on top of the trans. Remove it and see if there is any debris (metal fuzz) on it. Also check the wiring plug and see if it is loose or if the wires are damaged. That sensor sends the speed inputs to the ecm for the cruise control. If there is any fuzz on it gently clean it off with some CRC MAF sensor cleaner and then change your trans oil. I use white loctite to seal threads on re-install (allow 2 hours to cure).

The number 32933-08 that you posted is the TSSM module I believe. Maybe re-set your TSSM and see what happens. But clear the codes first.
