Default H-D Clothing Complaint

All,

has anyone else noticed that Harley dealers are selling clothing NOT MADE in America. I found a the majority of H-D shirts made in India, Pakistan & Vietnam costing almost $100.00 @ the Ramstein PX. Shouldn't Harley-Davidson be selling products made in America. What, can't they find a manufacturer in the USA? Please let Harley know that they should be selling products made in America by Americans!!!!

Respectfully

Rick

This is nothing new. Clothing, parts and accessories have been made outside the USA for several years now

Yes, it would be a good marketing strategy that might appeal to the patriotic nature of the average HD owner, who takes pride in an American designed and built bike. Woulf be nice to have some American made accesories to go along with it. Hell, go all the way with this concept-put an American flag on the labels on the products in the store, fly a big American flag alongside the HD corporate banner (oh wait, they do that already, don't they) and you have an entire marketing strategy designed to appeal to... Oh WTF, the bean counters at HD corporate have crunched the numbers, presented them to the board of directors and HD has gone the way of Dollar General when it comes to their accesories. We won't even start talking about the cheap sh-- Chinese bearings!

Well, welcome to the Forum if this is really where you want to be.

With the price of HD T-shirts these days, part of me wishes they could find an even cheaper place to make them...

Now if only we could get Walmart,Kmart, Target,Kohls etc etc... to start selling American. Does this mean my $50 dollar HD t-shirt will now cost $70?
