I had the same problem. Someone made a change to the forum software, and probably reviewed it with IE only. I see that a lot. I don't/won't use buggy/virus-prone IE, and further support the richest, greedy guy in the world. I test all my software with Firefox, and Netscape. Now I must mouse click in the text box to type at all, plus it's now in the default (goofy) font. I also have to mouse click to sign in.

THANK YOU, i have been having the same problem too. i can't get it to click down there and the graphics are all funny.

i'm using firefox (mozilla) and i think it has something to do w/ an update they just did. at first it would only work if i reply'd w/ a quote then the cursor would show up but it still looked all jacked up. this has happened since a few days before xmas.

i just found out the other day that if i click in the subject section then hit the tab, it will get the cursor down in the text area. i can use the arrow keys to get around in there but it won't click. i've looked all around in the properties and code and it seems to have something to do with javascript.

i am also having a problem with the little "advertising words" showing up now. i have this NoScript add-on that is supposed to keep that stuff out, and it did but since that day, those are still showing up.

did a full uninstall and reinstall and everything is the same. i got a new computer coming tomorrow. if it does it too, then its a mozilla thing for sure.

 

That's a good question. Hi, this is Terry (Admin) and I'm logged on as you. You can see that I'm typing in the "body section" without any problem. Are you using firefoxor internet explorer? It has to be something on your end.

P.S. I use Internet Explorer (I have not upgraded to 7) and it works fine.

 

You can say it's Mozilla, but Mozilla is open software, not closed, proprietary. It conforms with the rest of the world on web code. One company does not.
Mozilla just needs to be tested with existing applications when it is upgraded, like I do when Coldfusion or Oracle upgrades.

 

Yeah, I've been experiencing a lot of weirdness here lately, and I use Firefox, too. I hope they sort it out.

When you click on the comment field, your cursor doesn't show untill you start typing. I'm using Mozilla with no problems. Try it.[sm=type.gif]

 

Same problem. I just opened up HDF on Firefox (I'm using IE right now) and I can't type a word?

Maybe Bill Gates blew up the Firefox office?[sm=shootshoot.gif]
