Default Walmart oil filter for a 2012 103ci fatboy?

Ok going to do a quick oil change on my bike but dont feel like driving all the way to the HD dealer! What filter is the best at Walmart and will it have the same part # as the numbers in the Factory HD manual! Or are those numbers just for Harley dealer filters?

Just my opinion and I will save a buck when I can but there is a lot inside an oil filter that you can not see or compare to the one the dealer has. Harley motors did not make theirs but did spec it out to the supplier. I would take a Harley ride to the Harley shop for that one.

Some things you just don't want to skimp on and the oil filter is one of them. There are some better filters then the Harley one but you won't find them at walmart. Just not worth the risk on a new bike or any vehicle for that matter.

Why would you put your engine at risk to save on taking a short ride?

boy the guys at the dealer will see that walmart filter and void your warranty!!! LOL!
don't do that please!!! go fill the bike up with regular gas, pick up some bulk oil, drink a 6 pack while doing the oil change, just don't use a "walmart" filter!!! PLease!!

Super tech filters are great filters. I run a purolator pure one on my superglide 96". Not sure about the 103.

Is the Harley filter the same filter for both bikes?
