I Attended A Garage Party Tonight
#71
Cool thread. I didn't know about the garage parties. I like it. But, I'm not letting Cheryl near that dyno. I'm easily replaceable, but by a machine?? That would hurt.
edit - never saw your bike before. That thing is a work of art - Classic! Reminds me of the cool bikes being built back in the neighborhood when I was younger. I would love to hear more about it.

Now, the Queens have talked about Garage Parties before & told us about them teaching the ladies how to pick up a bike if they dropped it...But they never mentioned any Harley shop doing THIS!
They had a bike hooked up to the dyno & were letting the ladies get on & run through the gears...Yeah, teach 'em to ride in a straight line!
One older lady screamed her head off & came out breathing hard & walking funny...Draw your own conclusions!

Aint kickin' fun??
Gypsy,
Checked out your pics and saw you and your Tiger. Those things were worse than an iron head sportster to start. I get to have a lot of fun when I manage to flood the chopper. Kick 6-8 times, rest a while, 6-8 more kicks and it might start if it clears out. The S&S carb is pretty unforgiving at times, especially if it sits too long. I think the bike gets pissed at being ignored.
