Jersey pine motor cruiser's Ex - President Dies
I received a call today, Al Large has passed away from a motor cycle crash this past weekend.
For those who don't him, Al was good guy, I grew up in Itasca IL and hung around with his son Russel Large, and knew his parants very well, when they were around. They were always out riding every weekend , planning trips with the Jersey pine cruisers, breakfast runs, midnight run in Chicago, taking bike trips to Alaska all over the west coast.
He had several Harley's over the years, and pulled a trailer every where he went. From what i understand, he was coming back Sunday from a trip to Wisconsin, some where near Elgin IL a semi tire came flying at him and went down hard. He always wore helmut, i guess it was his time, after 100.000's of miles.
