Default Permanent flourescent paint (orange)?

In the early 90s, I painted my RZ with a very, very bright orange that was made from a German company named, uh, Glasurit? It was permanent, meant for construction work/signs etc. and not cheesy looking like flourescent orange spraybomb.

Does anyone make anything like that now, preferably chemically catalyzed? I'm totally out of the loop with paint now. Typically I have always been told flourescent paint is far from permanent, but this stuff was.

I'm musing...definitely just musing right now...with the idea of using a colour like that as a base on a paintjob. Obnoxiously loud orange tank and front fender with a black HD logo on the tank

lol. Like I say, I'm just musing. And the loud orange bike I had way back got a lot of compliments. Obviously not a Harley though...

I saw a very bright red Sportster the other day, not candy or flakes, just solid red, and it looked really amazing...to me anyways

Ask the people from Green Bay. Half of what they wear and bring to the Packers games is bright (blaze) orange. The other half...well green and yellow of course.

Thanks. Did a google on Green Bay Packers orange. Wrong orange. What I have in mind is more of a minium:

http://www.google.ca/search?q=minium...w=1424&bih=696

If I can find something (I guess it's time to hit the HoK site, but last I checked their flourescents were marked as non-permanent) and spray a bit of pearl with a candy over it, I think it will be both bright and a 'little bit' deep...but very powerful.

Again, just musing. Right now the tins are sanded to the metal so I want to come up with something over the winter...

Hard to judge how bright/loud it is, but that's spot on for the actual colour I want.

Do you know who makes that? Thanks man

That's Firebelly Orange, it's actually one of the Plasti-Dip colors I spray. Not permanent, but it's a start!

www.dipyourcar.com sells it by the gallon

Hum, I've heard of this stuff, but never knew it came in bright colours too. Might at least be worth giving it a try and riding for a bit to see if it's too much, before committing to something permanent.

But it seems HoK 'neons' are still considered not lightfast though...so this may not be worth pursuing any longer if I can't find someone else who makes it
