V&H Bigshots+stock radio
Just wondering if anybody is running the V&H Bigshots on their FLH with the stock radio.
I have the Bigshot Longs on my Heritage and love the sound but am trading up to a Street Glide and am wondering if the Bigshots will drown out the stock radio.
Its either those or the V&H Power Duals with some slipons.
Thanks

Hi, for whatever it is worth, I ride a 07 Softail Deluxe and as such, do not have a radio on the bike, however, I do have the pipes you were asking about, on my bike. All I can tell you is they are very loud; not so much at an idle, but when you open it up and pound it, they really get loud. Of course I would have it no other way, but they are loud pipes, none the less..

I currently have V&H duals on my 07 Ultra. They are very loud, but I can hear the radio at interstate speeds and so can my passenger. This was true with the stock speakers and is still true since I upgraded to the 4 speaker, ampless, BOOM setup

I have the Big Radius on mine (not louder, but pipes end in front of the bags).
Stock radio but I did get the bigger/better J&M speakers.
I have no problem. Turn volume up to 50% but that's fine by me. Problem is wind more than the pipes.
