No CVO Street Glide in 2013
So the SG is one of the most popular bikes.
CVO is already a limited production bike
But looking over the 2013 models, it seems it has been replaced by the new 2013 CVO Road King
I haven't seen a CVO SG ever sitting on the floor of any dealer that I visited so I'm guessing they sell.
Wonder what that move is all about?

Back in the early days of "CVO" bikes, there usually were only one or two models selected and available in a "CVO" version. Now it seems there is a CVO available in every model in the 5 lines of bikes. While I think the CVO bikes are a great value if you can afford them (ie lots of extras already added at a less than retail price) they are certainly nothing special or unique. Unable to swallow the then asking price of a 2010 CVO StreetGlide, I bought a "stock" model and then "CVO-ized" myself adding only the CVO pieces that I actually wanted. No I didnt get the 110 engine but did get pretty much all the cosmetic items (chrome). I am happy and I spent way less than the full-blown CVO model. I later had it custom painted and there is now no other StreetGlide like it in the world.........isnt that what we are all after?

I personally don't understand the whole CVO concept for a bagger. I get the thing behind limited edition having value but only if it is a garage Queen.
I know they are great feats of Harley muscle but at the end of the day it is a fast bagger. The cliche **** on a hog come to mind.
Maybe the effort they don't put in to that will be spent building a bike that doesn't look just like every other bike they have put out.
I personally would love an interesting new model that you didn't have to replace 30% of the lazy *** design concepts on right away.
The practice of throwing crappy round blinkers and the same fenders etc. on a bike so the owner goes and spends another 4K on doodads is getting tiresome.
I really would love to go in buy a new Harley but nothing every really changes and I can't see spending the money on a bike I need to make major adjustments too.
Then again I also own a porsche which has an even lazier design department than Harley. So what do I know.
