EVo vs. Twin cam
#41
To me....it was staying away from FI....purposely.
I dont want my fuel delivery to be dictated by electronics..or maps.
So many WTF up with my bike threads in the TC area....dependent on shops to correct.
I pull into the garage..if I dont like the way she is running...screwdriver is right there...quick and easy adjustment...dictated by me and the screwdriver.
Read the plugs and its all good.....

I assumed for year's that the twin cam harley's had overhead cams.... when I finally realized that they didn't It kind of made me wonder how exactly it was supposed to be an advantage, although everyone says they can make more power comparing an 88 inch motor or the new 110's to an 80 inch motor is hardly fair. Imagine how much power twin cams coulda made if they woulda used overhead cams.
On another note is it really true that the crank on my evo gets no oil below 2000 rpm's? I have no tach and so not really sure what rpm's i am at in different gears but does this mean in reality I should alway's be riding above 2000 rpms?
