Well, I forgot all about this post. I just sold this bike. Ten years 80,000 miles and 6 batteries. Hope I have better luck with my 2015 Ultra Low.

I have an 05 Fat Boy with the original battery, only keep it on the battery tender in the winter in an insulated garage. Still starts fine...

I'm thinking to replace it anyway, 10 years is a long time...
