What is it with Harley owners......
What is it with Harley owners who can't understand metric riders, there are stuck-up A-holes in any group. I think it is mostly new riders who expected a little more two wheeled brotherly luv, and then the brother don't wave back.

I think a lot of people miss the fact that when you get a wave with all fingers, that is a friendly gesture. It came from someone that you have something in common with. You both ride!! So whats the big deal give a little friendly gesture back and wave. Doesn't cost anything.

Heck no, it doesn't matter what you ride. Well said, Tinker. I wave at everybody. Cruiser, sportbike, tourer, dirt bike, Harley, Metric, I don't freaking care. I'll even wave at the dadgum bicyclists, for pete's sake ('course I'm a cyclist as well, put thousands of miles on my GT Trek).
I will say that I was getting a little frustrated during my first long ride. I waved at every biker I saw, and only one sportbike guy waved back. But it was a very nice gesture, even gave a little head nod.
If you're on two wheels, you're in the same club. Get off your sacred cow and say hello.

Well lets see.My GSX-R would pull CIRCLES around just about every HD out there. It has a way better suspension, brakes that work properly, and better fuel economy/ride.ANd yet the GSX-R is now replaced by a Dyna Superglide Custom.Just wave......doesnt matter what your riding. Its not like being a member of a gold key club.

I wave at all bikes. Some riders may have an attitude and not wave back. Some riders may be afraid to take their hand off the bars, to wave back. I waved at a guy riding a bicycle yesterday. he shrugged his shoulders and smiled. It was as if he was a bit embarrassed to being on a bicycle instead of a motorcycle, but who gives a $hit, what someone else is riding, most of us are just out to enjoy the ride.
