Question disc brake padlock

Back in the 70's I had a pair of Masterlock padlocks that were keyed alike. I'd put them through the holes in the brake disk, one on each side of the caliper. The most the bike could roll was about half an inch, often less than what could roll it off the stand depending on how things lined up. I know they make some fancy locks with neon cords to remind you to remove them. Just curious if anyone is using the old fashioned pair of keyed alike padlocks any more.

The Pad Locks are easy to cut with bolt cutters.... Unless you drill a larger hole for a cut proof lock... IMO just go with the newer style locks like posted above.... Keep in mind if a Pro wants your bike it takes 30 seconds or less to hook it.... I let State Farm worry about my Bike for 190 a year..

I still think an empty gun holster hanging off the bars is a good idea along with an alarm.

Only time I ever lock the disk is at a Motel or other over nighter. Use a Xena disk lock/alarm.
