Default Flush mount Fuel Caps

Any one use the generic version flush mount caps ($40)found on Amazon as opposed to the $200 ones from Harley? They don't have the LED gauge readout like HD do but they are not accurate anyway. How is the fit and finish of them?

I just scored a set of new HD flush mounts on eBay for $90.00 shipped...deals can be had you just need to keep looking.

I had them on my Deuce as well and had no issue with the LEDs and accuracy

I've got the HD ones on mine and find them to be very accurate. Kind of important to have some kind of gas gauge on a vehicle. Hell, my lawn tractor has a guage...

No fuel gauge on my bike. I use the trip odometer.

Do you have a part number? I only see ones for Dynas on eBay.

Do these generic caps have a provision for the stock gauge wiring?

I had the HD ones on my Wide Glide a while back. The cap came apart more than once and I replaced it each time. Low quality in my opinion. I was very glad to get rid of them.

I had the HD version on my former '10 Road King. After my 2nd fill up two of the digital lights went out, never to come back on. Several months later I ended up trading the RK on my present '11 FLTRUSE.
