Default Rattle, Buzz

Before I go nuts chasing down a rattle in the front end and taking everything apart, I want to ask if anyone else has had the same noise.
I have an 09 RG that has a high pitched buzzy, rattley sound coming from the front . . . inside fairing or front end. And it only buzzes when I go between 52 and 58 MPH, below and above that, no buzz. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is it speed related or rpm related? If you pulled the same rpm in fourth is the buzz still there? My front brake lever rattle/buzzes at certain rpm. It is annoying.

I had the same kind of noise. Buzzing, rattling and sounded like something in the front rocker box was loose. It varied by rpm but mostly at idle. It was driving me nuts and was almost ready to tear it apart.
Mine was a loose horn bracket on the left side. It's like the throttle body mounting bracket on the right. The horn bracket is bolted to the heads with a 5/16 bolt and a really thick washer on each head. After tightening the front one (really loose), all the noise stop and I was ecstatic. Check your and hope it does it for you.

I had a buzzing on my softail for a few years, only realized it was my gas cap so I replaced it. No more buzzing.

Well the buzz is confusing. You could do a process of elimination by moving some duck tape around, just my thought.
The one time I had what I call a rattle ( and someone might call a buzz) coming from the front, I was going crazy and finally on an empty road I started grabbing everything in front of me with my glove. I finally figured out it was the fuel tank bolt that way, end of problem. But a noise from the front end doesn't sound good on the highway, that's certain.
