Yeah and I haven't found out how much it is going to cost me to park on the Strand at this free rally yet this year. Haven't seen that bullcrap posted anywhere including their website. Riding over this evening. Will be doing the daily ride--too close to spend money to stay in a damp hotel over.

There are Plenty of places to park for free.
Folks look to pay to park so somebody watch 's their bike
Got to Harborside and park on the grass by the tracks. If you can git your bike out might be another thing.
Look to park on the street if you are luck on 24th street near the strand
You just have to realize there will be a lot of folks wanting to park
Personally parkin don't matter to me. If its too much for you ride around and look and walk farther
If I pay 10.00 for somebody to watch it. I feel good. If that is too much for you look I'd rather have somebody watching my bike. That is cheap insurance

Don't know if anybody on this forum made the Lonestar Rally or not. But it was bigger.
JP Cycles was there for the 1st time. I was happy to see JP Cycles.
Thunder-Max was at the rally too. Their 1st time at the rally .
I was super glad to see them.
Seen folks from Dallas. A lot of folks from Louisiana, see tags from Missouri, CAlifornia, N.M..
I personally had the best time of my life this year. The OL had a great time
Her sister come for the 1st time. Her sister tripped out at all the folks. Her sister had a blast and was blowed away at everything.

I already have already made reservations for going down next year on Thursday and staying threw sunday.
reservations can be hard to get months in advance for this rally.
We usually have 500,000 folks partying on the Island
This is the 4th largest motorcycle rally in the united states
The police was super great again. They didn't harass anybody. but if you did wheelies on your bike.
You will be immediately pulled over.
All the resturants and bars were full of motorcyles and bikers.
It was party time on the island this weekend

Read the thread I put on here about the woman that was trying to steal from my bag. Ten dollars a day to park on the Strand sucks at a FREE rally. It was a good rally and the ride everyday was nice. This is still my favorite rally because I spend every night at home eventually. Glad I live just miles down the coast from Galveston.

Never had anybody try to steal anything. Guess its lucky for them.
Thiefs are everwhere. There are 500.00 helmets on everybodys bikes. Don't hear about nobody stealing them
