Can anyone tell what year this bike is?

 

Not right off. If I were to make a skilled guess, I'd say 1961.

 

I'm thinking 61-63

 

Panhead engine was made from 1948-65. Not sure the exact year of that bike.

tank badge says 61-62 but it could be aftermarket, I have the same on my '94

Seeing that hinged fender reminds me of a "facepalm" moment that happened to a buddy.

He's building 2 bobbers, and bought a GS750 that the previous owner had "customized". It has Harley fenders front and rear, and when my buddy pulled the rear fender off he saw that the fugging idiot had welded the fender to make it solid. Betchs the guy thought he was really on to something.

 

61-62 is a good guess, but them badges are airbrushed onto the tank. one guess is as good as another on this one.
