Default Anybody ridin with the Bell Custom 500 3/4 helmet?

Don't really NEED a new helmet. But want one of these. They look great, but I have a few concerns:

Can you hear out of them? (Always wondered why they don't have ear holes)

And is it a pain in the **** to get them on and off? (I tried a few on in the stores and even in my size, it's not that fun for my big ears when I take the thing off.)

Does it get too hot in the summer?

Been using the Custom 500 for a year now - delighted with it. Sits low on the head, comfortable, and yes you can hear. Best helmet I've owned in 40 years! (Get the impression I like it?!!).

they all get too hot in the summer, but I like my 500.
It's about the same as my first Bell that I bought in 1972.

I had to order a size up though..

great helmet for the money

I like mine. I chose to have it fit a little snug at first. After it broke-in, it fit comfortably and does well with wind buffeting.

I bought mine tight also. After a week it fit well, It's not any hotter than most. I'd buy another.

I wear a full face helmet and have to say that the tightness you start with will start to go away after a few rides as the foam shapes to your bean.

I like mine. They are not bad in the summer and go on and off without any issues.
