gmr had a version of this a number of years ago for main brg support for high horsepower motors. looked different but worked the same

the new comp looks pretty good, depending on how those bushings hold up, and at a decent price, too. but as 02 said my SE comp is working just fine at the moment.

Why did you delete the pictures? Was it because this was not a Harley product? I've looked all over since I found the pictures you originally posted, which I found to be unbelievable. I saw that GMA had something like that for race engines, basically a trough to catch oil and funnel it onto the comp, but I've not found a similar Harley product? Geez, I just don't understand why Harley doesn't just modify the comp like Dark Horse seems to be doing rather than spend all of the money frigging around with patches like that? Seems like it costs more than just re designing the original comp? But then again, what do I know?

if its what i think it is, this is the gmr version. (i think, no pics). it is not hd's solution. and is not quite ready for sale yet.

Yes at first I thought it was a HD product and not addressing the comp issue but it wasnt. Props for an aftermarket guy Richard with GMR to come up with a solution. And now we have a few choices to resolve the SE comp problems. And yes neither are out in the market yet. Richard from GMR just became a HDF member so I hope we get some real time updates and imput.
