Default best security system

What is the best security/alarm system available? I am just finishing a custom bike and want to install the best system or systems to prevent 99% of thieves trying to get it. Sirens, chains, locks, etc. are not going to work because they might have plenty of time to circumvent them. Would be nice if it called my cell phone when tripped. Thanks.

Hello there
one good thing which is a start would be a chain that is very thick so that bolt croppers just ride off and will not cut th links. I am from the uk so don't no the makes over where you are but there be some. Try to get a system with a floor tie down and lock the big links don't always work with the standard floor ties.

honestly security systems aresold as "deterents" not "prevention" for a reason. no matter how "secure" your system is a thief intent on having your bike will get it. that factory security system, fork locks and disc lock(s) will stop mos tthives and if your in a high crime area chain that sucker to somethign that wont easily move. if that hig hcriem area is where you live then make sure the criminals in yoru area no that stealing has painful consequences.

other then that no real sure fire way to stop it fro mgettign jacked.

i can park my biek anywhere in my county with the keys in it and not have to worry about it, because the crooks know messign with my chit will brign a world of hurt to your doorstep

Sirens, lights, chains, wheel locks, etc. will make the average POS thief look somewhere else but if they really want it, they're going to get it.

You might check into Low Jack, if they can put one on a bike.

The LoJack can be installed on a motorcycle. You just have to find an installer. Cost for LoJack and labor on a motorcycle is about $1k.

Be aware, the LoJack is for recovering the vehicle AFTER it has been stolen. It is NOT a security system !

@ Chickin
In Texas, Longhorn HD in Grand Prairie is an authorized LoJack installer.

The best security system is a garage and an armed homeowner.

Chain and a Xena rotor lock with alarm to slow them down at least. Hopefully that will be enough of a pain in the *** to get them looking somewhere else. If they want it bad enough, they'll get it.

A tracking system to recover it, like Lojack, and insurance. Because if they want it, they can take it, quickly.
