I read that HD is going into the scooter market. What do you think?

I haven't heard that. I guess its possible. What's next, golf carts?

If you get into Europe or Asia, you will see that the lowly scooter is the number one mode of trasportation. I doubt that HD would go back and sell scooters here, but it would be a area of growth over seas.

..... put hiway pegs on that baby, paint it black & orange & it's perfect for the S.E. asian market.
......... maybe even the US urban mkt w/gas over $5/gal.

there will be 5 dollar gas as soon as this summer & the man won't be happy till it gets to 7 bucks! I think there is a good chance you will see more Scooters in the US market - We are well over 4 dollars here & it's still winter -

HD is going going to diversify .... you, putting their fingers in various pies to increase profits at the cost of quality ... HD will continue to use outdated tech and then HD will wonder why their market share shrinks again.

HD has very capable engineers, I don't understand why they can't build a bike that needs work soon after it leaves the showroom floor.
