Vintage photos of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club

I grew up in McHenry back in that time frame and was thinking the same thing. I can not for the life of me figure where this track could have been at. Two areas come to mind, either in the gravel pits of McHenry or out in the area of where Aero-PA used to be. If you grew up during this time in McHenry you will remember Aero-PA.. I do remember the Outlaws coming in to town and spending time in JAKES DEAD END bar on the east side of town by the Fox River bridge. Hell's Henchman were also known to be a club during that time frame in McHenry.

Man all of these guys and girls seem like they were living the life back then! Ride! Have Fun! Get Crazy! Ridge more!
Before it was a fashion show....
Im still hung up on the HA on the back of the Outlaw bike.... and then again in another picture partying with them. Dont know what changed or why, but i could guess that the clubs would be a helluva lot more fun if they all partied together!!

I don't know why folks like to fantasize about being a criminal. Would pictures of the crips and bloods on motorcycles get oooos and ahhhhhs as well?

Lots of Brit bikes in there. Think I saw a BMW in one frame and a jap bike of some sort in the blessing of the bikes pic. different times

This is interesting. I have a hard copy of this book, reissued in 2003. I bought it from amazon or BN for 40 bucks within the last 5 years. Now all of a sudden, it's not available and they're selling for a few hundred bucks. I wonder if the outlaws sued the publisher or just not enough sales?

Wo, the wayback machine.....way kewl. Thanks for the trip.
I was a kid in 62 but my two Uncle's were in MC's. It wasn't about being a criminal so much back then, though some were. It was about guys who got out of the war and just didn't give a f*** any more. Both of my Uncles had "shell shock" which is old terminology for PTSD. They rode to get away from everyone except those who understood or were too crazy to matter. Wild and crazy bastards, they were too. But they were also human and good to us kids.....took us on lots of rides and got several of us hooked on bikes, among other things.
Don't think I ever saw either of them without a drink or a beer and a cigarette, and they both died young from cigs and alcohol. War is hell, riding was their redemption and escape.
Thanks for the memories.

You should have stopped at "I don't know..."
Apparently you don't...
Walter White?
You fantasize about being a meth dealer on TV?
