Cool exhaust

What's up fellow Harley riders, I just brought a 2013 CVO ultra and I have got to tell you it is beautiful. I just put 100 miles on it and I can't wait to ride a 1000 miles in one day. The one thing I am upset about is the exhaust. For that kind of money the damn thing has no sound. I need ideas on a great combo for a exhaust setup. I don't want slip ons, I really want the whole setup. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Forum!

I would take this question on over to the Touring section and re-post it. This is discussed all the time there and you would get a much bigger response. Do a search over there to. A lot of good information.

Congrats on the new bike!

Very simple: Go to www.fuelmotousa.com. Buy the kit that fits your needs. No better service and good products.

Take a look at what Samson, Vance & Hines, Freedom Performance Exhaust has. Of course, they have websites. Envy you with the bike. It has to be awesome!

Now there's something you don't hear much about on THIS forum! A little too much information.

Fulsac, they have head pipes that will use the stock heat shields, and three different baffles that can be used with the stock mufflers. So everything looks like stock, if that's what you want. I put V&H Pro pipe on my 12 CVO, but will go to the Fulsack next winter. Done spending on it for this year.

Go look at CVO forums for some info also.

First, congratulations on the new CVO. Below is what I did to my '12 Road King 103.

V&H Power Duals
Arlen Ness Big Sucker Air Cleaner
H-D SEPST
RCX-Haust (by rccomponents.com)

This set up sounds wicked at idle and when you twist the throttle. At cruising speed it will quiet down, whether crusing at 40 or 75 MPH. These pipes would be considered loud by some, but I like loud, with a good tone. This set up dynoed at 81 H.P. and 100 ft. lb. torque. Obviously your 110 cu. in. engine would have more power after a Stage 1 like this. Hopefully you could go to several bike nights, a rally or two to hear a lot of different pipes so you base your decision on what you heard, as well as what people tell you. Good luck in your search for the right set up for you.
