harley davidson engine identification (from vin#'s)
I have a 2005 harley davidson electra glide ultra classic. I was looking up the engine model code using the vin #. According to my book, the 7th digit of the vin represents the engine model. The 7th digit on my bike is a "W". My book has two possible posabilities for the 7th digit. Unfortunatly "W" is not one of the two answers in the book. Anyone know what engine type "W" is?

W is the correct letter and there was only one engine available on the Electra Glide (non CVO) so it designates the 88 ci motor (1450cc). E designates the 103 ci (1690cc) engine which was available on the CVO models.
