Pretty sure the ones from CrAzy Als are the same as the Akoury--similar pricing too

Comparing my 88 to the excellent photos of the helmet from Crazy Al's, it sure looks like the two helmets are EXACTLY the same ... they even have the same chin strap with ratchet closure. Crazy Al's is also a Canadian outfit...that's gotta have something to do with it.

Did it break in?

Just got mine in and took it for a 50 mi ride. Badass. I do live in a nanny state so I am wearing one all the time. Wear the bell 500 3/4 in the winter which isn't too bad (still feel a little like the guys from Spaceballs) but still not bad. My summer lid was a HD half that dealer sold me on while basking in the glow of buying my bike. Crazy mushroom head... The Akoury is much better. Really light and super comfy. No more mushroom head. At least with my grape it doesn't look mushroomy. Also super dig the ratchet strap. Get it dialed in and no worries. Definitely my go to half.

I got the Akoury AK-1 and love it! The fit is awesome and no mushrooming! Best $90 I ever spent!

I purchased the AK-88 at a local bike show. Always wanted a small helmet and this one fits perfect and is light. Can't wait for an extended ride this Spring.

The Akoury and Crasy Al's are the same helmet, different labeling. Both out of Canada, maybe nextdoor to each other.
If your thinking on getting this, do it. Follow the sizing chart. Order now, it's a long wait.

Picked up a Crazy Al's last week at a local Indy while I was ordering some parts, nice and light. I haven't had a chance to ride with it yet as my scoot it torn down for some powder coat and primary work.
