Default Screen brightness

I have a 2018 ultra classic. When I use my navigation system at night it is so bright it blinds me! Is there a way to dim this? TIA for any help on this.

The instructions are in your Boom! Owners manual. On my ‘16 FLHTK it’s

Home-Setup-Screen-Screen Display

Choose automatic or manual. In manual you can adjust brightness.

I have mine on automatic. Sometimes at night the sensor is slow and it stays in bright daytime mode before it dims to night time mode.

You can also adjust the button brightness & day/night color modes.

It does not affect the gauges.

Note: If it’s not the Boom! Nav, then read that device’s manual. If no adjustments, then a piece of neutral density gel/filter.
