Default Tubeless tires .... with tubes ?

Is it ok to use " tubeless " tires on a bike with tubes ? I am thinking about trying the Pirelli Night Dragon's on my Heritage / with spoke , tube wheels. On Pirelli's web site their rated a tubeless tire.

Almost all tires today are tubeless... It's really the wheel that determines whether or not a tube is required. So yes, to answer your question, it's ok to run a tubeless tire with a tube.

My bike has tubeless tires from the factory with tubes installed. So not only is it okay, the MoCo sends out bikes that way. Post how you like those tires!

I didn't know today's bikes had tubeless tires, until I got mine. I was really surprised. The things that have changed in the past 30 years.

My bike has tubeless tires, and tubeless wire spoke factory wheels. But I still have tubes in them. Dealer installed them, and they must have done so for a reason. No reason for me to tempt fate.

My FXDC as spoked wheels but both tires are Michelin Scorcher tubeless. I just checked. I have to assume they have tubes, although I have read about tubeless spoked wheels. They look like normal spoked wheels to me...

Put new tubeless tires on the RK, they couldn't get the tire to expand to the rim so they through a tube in it. Rides fine.
