Question Form or function? Which comes first for you.

Do you put your $$$ in paint, chrome, sound system or do you put your $$$ in things like engine, brakes, and suspension?

Ill say im a function over form guy.

The FLSTC already looked great so I am more into making it more functional.

Function is form.

That being said, I go for looking better over going fast or even comfortable (though I am making a concession on the seat, the bike is going to be my only form of transport the way things are going).
It's a Harley, If I wanted to go fast I would have bought another V-Max.

Mostly function. Just try to get something that does look ok while it's doing it's job.

No Doubt - function comes first. I'm an engineer. It's a disease.

I won't say that I haven't or won't do any mods that are purely aesthetic, but on a limited budget the function comes first. So far, the tank emblems are the only "form" mod that I've made.

I come from a sportbike/motocross background, I've been on bikes that are faster and handle better than most (if not all) Harleys, I've done my time dragging knees. I bought my Harley to slow down and look good doing it. Form all the way.

Function. Here's some proof from the grocery run this morning, and yes the saddlebags are full
