Harley training wheels, heard of it?

No offense to anyone, but if you're too weak to hold a bike up at a stop sign. . .should you really be riding at all?
I realize that old age may catch up with me some day and take my motorcycle away from me. That's all well and good, and I will accept that. What I won't do is put something on my motorcycle to help me keep it from falling over because I'm too weak.

Good idea, but dangerous.

You mean Prilosec?
If you were trying to make a joke about dick stiffeners, those are blue pills, dude.
Sorry, y'all. I'm 32, about to turn 33. I'm looking forward to grey hair, getting older, and all the **** that comes with it. If that happens to be me getting weaker and not holding a bike up, guess what? That's life. You deal with it. Put the motorcycle on mothballs and stay in a cage where *you* are safer, and other people are probably safer.
What the **** is up with all the old farts desperately clinging to youth?
People get old and die, if they're lucky. Sometimes your body falls apart doing it, sometimes it doesn't. Clinging to your long-gone youth just makes you seem full of regret.

My father passed last year. He hadn't really ridden for several years. He rode my 883l a few times because it is small, but he was not really able to handle his Gold Wing. Towards the end, when he realized it was coming, he said that he wished he could ride a motorcycle again.
I don't mean to disparage you Rooster, but you are only 32, things will probably seem different later in your life. Clinging to your long gone youth just means you aren't ready to give up.

Pete's shop is just 5 mi from my home. I was there when he started working on this invention. It is designed for people who are older (weaker) or missing limbs ect. The cost when compared to a trike or a trike kit is actually very reasonable. Most people already have a motorcycle and the kit is just an addition to what they already own. My wish is I never need a Leg Up but it's nice to know it's there if I do. On top of that Pete is one of the nicest men you will ever meet. No I have never worked there.

A Good Alternative to a Trike
These things are a great alternative to having to trike your bike. There's another one that really looks like training wheels at http://keepriding.net but they look more sturdy and match the bike.
Like others in this thread I hope to be riding until I'm dead and riding a trike is only a small step below driving a car. These things at least give you a way to keep riding, leaning in the curves and feeling like a real bike if you have short legs or hip or knee problems.
