Default Clutch cable free play changes with temp?

Since installing my Jockey Shift my free play on my clutch cable changes while I'm riding.

At first I thought the cable was stretching and I just kept taking out free play which was fine when cold, but then it wouldn't fully disegage and was hard to shift after riding a few miles.

I have it set to where it engages just as I ease off the pedal when it's hot but it doesn't engage when cold until I lift my foot probably an inch or more.

At first I thought maybe I needed to adjust the pushrod because it was expanding as it got hot but that would be the case regardless of how I adjusted it. Never had this problem before installing the Jockey.

The only other change I've made since installing the Jockey is to go from Syn 3 in the primary to regular primary lube.

Anybody got any idea's as to why this would be happening?

If the only thing you actually changed is the clutch cable, I say it's the materiel the new cable is made of expands more.,,

The throw out bearing is bad on the right side of the transmission. Or maybe when you set the clutch adjustment, you did not screw in a couple turns past no play to deburr threads to insure you are starting in the correct position to set free play.. just some thoughts.
