No way in hell would I use one.....maybe I shouldn't knock it because I have no experience with one...??? Looks a little rickety to me......if the front of the scoot is up in the craddle, the rear tire is on the ground, when you make a turn the front tire isn't going to pivot & the bike can't lean, so does the rear tire "scuff" thru the turns....???

Besides that, I don't know if the trans. is going to be damaged by the rear wheel rolling, but not under power....??? I know alot more about "towing" heavy trucks than bikes....LOL

I'd still prefer my scoot on a trailer of some type......but ya gotta do whatcha gotta do I reckon.

No, I would purchase a trailer. With the rear wheel on the ground and the front of the bike elevated, I would be concerned about possible transmission damage.

I would want to contact the MoCo to determine if there is a chance of damaging the transmission.

Check your manual, It clearly states that you shouldn't cost for long distances because your transmission is lubricated while the engine is runing... not to mention the stress placed on the steering head.

Humm, I would be concerned about the transmission gears in the front of the case running dry or at least not as well lubricated.... But hey, it also is no worse than a constant grade of 2-3%..........

why would you want one of those when you can buy a nice little trailer for the same price?

A local vender was selling these at the Lone Star Rally this past year. The ones they had were stout and well made.
However, I would not use it. If I am going to have one wheel on the ground, then I would want both wheels one the ground. And if both wheels are on the ground, then I am riding it

I think they were selling for around $400, which for a little more you can get a trailer

Thanks for the input all. I am also concerned about the trans due to the rolling wheel, and of course tire wear. I really have no place to store a trailer, and after purchasing my Wide Glide, found out that due to its lenght, the rear wheel would sit on the tailgate of my truck. I may still end up putting it in the bed of the truck, though.

1983. A friend of mine had his parents tow his motorcycle from IA to Ft Bliss, TX using one of those. Replacing the back tire ended up being the cheap part of it. Tranny was shot too.
