Default Installed new speedo with tach. How to set clock?

So I just installed the new speedo with tach on my 2013 fatbob. Looks awesome and was a super easy installation. I got all the colors set up the way I want but nowhere in the instructions is how to set the clock.

If anyone has done this mod assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

When I get home tonight I will look for the instructions and post them. But as I recall you merely hold the trip button until the first digit starts blinking similarly to zeroing out your trip mileage and then tap it easily until you reach the correct number. Then Press it down again until the next number starts blinking and do the same.

Yeah, someone in another forum responded with that. The other thing is you need to put it in ignition instead of accessory position.

The instructions have everything in them; setting colors for everything, needles, distance to empty, gear select. But it had nothing for setting the clock. How hard would it have been to include that?

I put the same unit in my Super Glide. Setting the clock was in the instructions.

Go reread them. Someone posted the other day that they set everything except the colors as there were no instructions. Same answer. Yes there is learn to read more careful.

Just pulled out the instructions again and read them as carefully as I could. Still wasn't in there. Thanks for your condescending advice though.

Not in the instructions....

With the main switch set to accessory.....Using the trip button on your left handle bar continue to push until you get to the clock setting...push and hold down. Wait for 12hr or 24hr to flash. Hit trip again with your choice of the two. The clock function will begin to flash. Still using your trip button toggle though the numbers and set your hour. When you have the hour hold the trip button to set it. Push trip again for minutes and follow the same process. When you have the minutes set you're done. With it still flashing turn off acc dial and back on again........your time should come up set.

No problem...ride safe.

If you can't get it....shoot me a PM and I'll give ya my number and I'll walk you through it over the phone. Super easy. Good luck

Oh, I have it figured out. Someone in another thread had responded with it.

With this bike though, you cant cycle through the trip button when in accessory mode to get to the clock. You actually need to be in the ignition mode and then you hold the trip button down. Then the clock itself will flash and you can change the 12hr/24hr setting there as well. Nothing else is changed through that setting other than the clock.
