Arrow POLL A theory in Vision

I've been in optics for over 20 years, I have formed many theory's about people and their vision and how it effects their personality. I'm making a poll to get an idea of how many HD owners wear glasses and what their RX for glasses is. I have found that "Near sighted people" are less likely to ride vs "far sighted people". I can elaborate more if i see this thread getting responses or if anyone has questions I's be happy to answer... thanks

I was 20/200 until I got LASIK surgery 10 years ago and went to 20/15 (or better). One of the best things that I have ever done. SJ Ron

Mostly far-sighted, but need glasses for both near and far anymore. Being a machinist, not being able to see up close stinks.

At one time I could read the trademark on the eye chart if I tried . Discovered computers in the mid 90's and eyes went downhill within 2 years . At 59 I can still read a book but reading glasses make it much more enjoyable . Haven't had an eye exam since I don't know when , still doing denial I guess .

I feel your pain QC , I have cheaters in my welding hood ..................

I can pass a driving test but have a small stigmatizeum and am a little far sighted in my right eye. Makes sighting iron sighted rifles a pain in the a$$ without my glasses. So can I still ride my Harley?

I would actually like for you to elaborate on that if you would please.

Odd thread but you got my interest.

I couldn't really vote since I am in the middle of near and far.

I did have a script for reading glasses but they got to be useless and never got a new one.

Now it seems I'm losing a little on the other end also.

I am near sighted and wear contact lenses but now need reading glasses over the lenses.
And bad astigmatism.
