How many miles on average can you expect out of your belt?

 

Failure examples seem rare on this forum from mileage.
Rock damage posts do occur though.

Without checking a service manual interval, I'd write for preventative maintenance every 50K mileage or every 10 years.

 

If it's not abused, many get 100,000+ miles out of them. I replaced mine at 80,000 miles just as a preventative measure.

 

You can get age or mileage but not both, these belts will last on a 100tq bikes they are pretty strong if you don't abuse them too bad.
They have a fast, and hard rule of 100,000 miles or about 10 years or so, that being said my belt has 55k on it now, and looks real good at 11 years old.
