It is coming, but you will only know it for sure when you see it.

The power and the price will most likely be presented to the dealers before showing up on these forums, unless somebody spills the beans : >)

There are already more powerful AIR cooled engines out there made by other manufacturers. Polaris just made one recently (Indian), on top of that "other" more powerful air-cooled v-twin they make (Victory). On top of that, Yamaha has been doing it for years with their 113.
There's no reason Harley can't do the same, there's just going to have to figure out how to make one that'll meet emissions, and make more power, without running so darn hot. It's not impossible.....

Rumor has it that the FLTR will come back with a water cooled head. I got it from a good source, someone on this site.

much easier to do an oil cooled head, ala XR1200, and pretty damned effective

so let's think about this for just a minute

anytime something revlutionarily new comes to a manufacturer they NEED to train the technicians that will be working on these new things

anyone heard of any HD techs being sent for training lately?

I mean yes, HD can keep it under wraps for a while, but water cooled CVO's would require a bit of training and as of yet nothing

We'll find out soon enough. Should be interesting to see the reaction of people if they do.
