Default shipping a bike? Need advice

Any advice on shipping a bike from NY to Fl?
May be moving there. Will be pulling a U-Haul with household goods.

I'd rent the pull behind motorcycle trailer U-Haul has and hook it to the truck...

I would ship it in a covered trailer. They are lots of good shippers. Check their feedback.
Good Luck.

I've used this one 2x's now, currently having an 2011 Ultra Limited shipped from Florida to Arizona. They were the lowest each time, the only one lower on the quote added a 29% fuel surcharge and that put their final cost way above this one.

What he said. I used them to ship my bike from Portland, Oregon to Brooklyn, New York. It took 10 days from pick up to drop off. The bike was perfect. Def would use them again.

Check with your local HD dealer/H.O.G. chapter. They might know of someone. My chapter has a guy who ships bikes to all the major rallies ie. Daytona,Sturgis, etc. Or look at www.eastcoastbiker.net

http://funtransport.com. Highly recommend. These guys did good by me. No problems, & reasonable time frame for delivery.
