Official New Harley Models 500 and 700 Thread

I think it will do what Harley wanted - pull in even more youth.
750 is a decent sized motor..It looks pretty cool..Decent price for a brand new Harley..and im guessing it's engine, at 60 degrees - with 4 valves heads and water cooling should make more power than an 883.

Well, after looking at the website and getting more angles to look at (and assuming the PR spin that's with it holds sort of true), it's a pretty good looking bike.
I think it's a reasonable step forward to create more market share. I can see some streetfighter customization going on with it.. Hell, the 750 could be a really fun canyon carver, if set up right.

Part of me really wants to hate this motorcycle, but the more I look at it and think about it, I'm ok with it. Rear fender is a little goofy, but otherwise I like it. Or more importantly, my wife likes it. I'm interested to see what the seat height is. She currently rides a Honda Shadow 600. Sportsters feel too tall for her, Softails are comfortable to sit on, but she's intimidated by the weight and more importantly the cost. This might be a great option for someone like her who doesn't really care about the whole pushrod, air-cooled Harley tradition, its just a cool looking, budget friendly motorcycle that happens to be a Harley.
